Camp Description
Sun Star Farm Camp invites children to unplug, unwind, and slow down while spending time in nature. With a play-based approach, the camp nurtures curiosity through hands-on experiences that help kids fully enjoy the rhythm of the day.
Campers enjoy plenty of one-on-one time with animals, along with gardening, crafting, hiking, creek adventures, songs, games, and other outdoor activities. The program is divided into four age groups so children can take part in activities, stories, and projects that fit their developmental stage.
Camp Director Heidi Watkins, an educator and mother of three, is present throughout the day and closely involved in all aspects of camp life. Families return year after year for the warm, nurturing atmosphere and the balance of flexible space, personal attention, and outdoor discovery.
