Science Camps

Designed for ages 6–18 and divided by grade level, this engineering camp lets students explore how engineers help society through hands-on investigations and creative design challenges. Each year brings new activities that introduce the Engineering Design Process, with past projects including extreme water slides, solar cities, heart valves, jellyfish, rockets, and more.
NC STEM Academy’s summer camp offers an exciting hands-on STEM adventure where students explore real-world science through 50 engaging experiments. Campers will dive into microbiology, physics, biotechnology, and chemistry while streaking bacteria, extracting DNA, creating bioplastics, building balloon-powered cars, and simulating ELISA and blood-typing experiments in a fun, curiosity-sparking environment.

North Carolina Esports Academy STEM camps transform time off school into an exciting, balanced learning experience. Campers dive into three hours of project-based STEM using tools like Minecraft Java Edition to explore circuits, energy systems, and design challenges, then enjoy 75 minutes of outdoor recess plus free play—building critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills while staying active and having fun.
