Camp Description
Your child will spend the week discovering music in a fun, active, and hands-on way. With guidance from our counselors, campers will explore play structures, learn interactive songs, play musical games, and begin to understand rhythm through a variety of percussion instruments. The experience is designed to keep children moving, engaged, and excited as they build confidence through music and play.
Throughout the week, children will learn basic melodies as a group using color-coded handbells and pitched percussion instruments. They will also be introduced to instruments such as the piano, drums, and ukulele, giving them a chance to hear, touch, and try different sounds. These activities help campers develop listening skills, coordination, and an early appreciation for how music comes together.
